2018 was yet another great year for Nordic Choice Hotels. With strong organic growth and successful new openings, the company delivered its best ever operating results.
With five new hotels (including franchise) and 1.027 new rooms, we finished the year on a new high with operating revenues at NOK 10.88 billion, an increase of 9.6 percent compared with 2017.
In addition to great financial results, Nordic Choice Hotels was also honoured with the award as “Best Hotel Chain” in both Norway and Sweden at the Grand Travel Awards. And for the third time, the company was awarded “Best Hotel Chain” in the Nordic Countries.

Entered the Quality Hotel-family September 1st. The hotel is the second Quality Hotel in Ålesund, and joined the portfolio from Radisson Blu.
Closed down to limited capacity in February 2017 for a full renovation and extension, including an increased capacity from 326 to 455 rooms and 700 sqm. conference facilities.The hotel opened its doors to a refined experience in June 2018, and showed off its great new look and feel to 100+ invited guests at the grand re-opening party in August.
Opened its doors April 16 as the second Quality Hotel in Linköping. Situated mere minutes from Linköping International Airport, the hotel offers state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities, 176 delicate guestrooms, barr., restaurant, gym, outdoor fitness track - and the Wellbox spa.

- Comfort Hotel Arlanda: March 2020 we’ll see the opening of Comfort Hotel at Arlanda Airport. The hotel will have more than 500 rooms rooms and will be located next to SkyCity, with direct access to shops, restaurants and international flights.
- Comfort Hotel Copenhagen Airport: Comfort’s biggest hotel ever is opening in September 2020. With more than 600 room, located 2 minutes walking distance from the terminal. The base of the building consists of a 3,000 sqm large, newly built venue- perfect for conferences and congresses, hosted by Clarion Hotel.
Comfort Hotel Porsgrunn will be a fresh addition to the city. It's located just near the central train station and has 134 rooms and 5 meeting rooms over 8 floors. The hotel will open March 1st 2019.
Summer 2018 we opened our second hotel in Umeå, Comfort Hotel Umeå City. The hotel is equipped with 131 fresh and smart rooms and is located in the hub of the city.
Comfort Hotel Västerås opened in February 2018, with great location just next to central train station. This hotel was the first to open based on Comfort’s updated brand promise - and with 149 rooms, of which one is an 8 bedded XXL room, the guests can enjoy everything Comfort stands for.
Comfort Hotel Kista opened in November 2018, with 194 hotel rooms, an XXL-room - and with all brand concepts on point. Re-defining what a modern business hotel is all about. The hotel is Nordic Choice Hotels' first hotel in Kista, with an outstanding location only a stone's throw from Kista Gallerian.

During 2020, our first guests will check in at Clarion Hotel Sundsvall, a part of the new area Riverside. In this lively neighborhood the hotel will become a natural meeting spot. Including 270 rooms, conference area, restaurants, bars, spa and a roof top terrace.
This will open 2021 and become the highest hotel and apartment building in the Nordics. With its 245 meters, Karlatornet will be an architectural landmark for the city and the new area Karlastaden. Besides 300 rooms there will be restaurants, bars, large conference facilities, gym and spa.

250 rooms, many with views of the water, rof top bar, heated outside pool, restaurant, gym and Living Room bar are some of the things you can enjoy at Helsingborgs waterfront, with a spectacular seaview. Opens in 2019.
This will definitely become the new vibrant hub of Oslo. With an outstanding restaurant on 13th floor with their own Urban Garden. The hotel will have a beautiful new lobby with restaurant and café, fitness and relax area. It will become Norway's largest conference hotel with 810 rooms and a congress hall covering 1,000 sqm. Clarion Hotel The Hub opens in March 2019.
Located right in Oslo city center, in the new Barcodes area. In between the Munch Museum Lamba and the Opera, Clarion Hotel Bjørvika is guaranteed to be a fully new hotel experience. The hotel will offer 253 hotel rooms including two suites, gym and spa, as well as 1500 sqm conference facilities with total capacity for 1,200 people. The hotel will open in June, 2019.
